Work progressing well on upgrade to Broadlands Road

The upgrade project on Broadlands Road is well under way, with a 1.6km section north of View Road being fully reconstructed and widened to restore the road surface and improve safety for motorists.

• Stop/Go traffic management is in place during working hours
• Drivers are asked to take extra care around the work site.
• Reduced speed limits will remain in place outside of work hours.

The project is scheduled for completion in late March, and our team has been working closely with IRONMAN organisers to accommodate cyclists during the event period.

Motorists wanting to avoid delays can use State Highway 5, which runs parallel to Broadlands Road.
