Work starts on new shared path in Mangakino

Work is now underway on a shared pathway being built from Lakeview Place to the Waikato River Trail entrance on Lake Road.

Signs will connect users to the pathway down to Lake Maraetai, and there will be further pathway connections built during the lakefront development project, which will see improved parking, and family, boating and camping spaces around the current boat ramp site.

Work on the pathway is expected to be completed in May. As always, please use caution around the worksites.
