New Year, new truck. Same rubbish, same rules.

A cleaner Taupō District starts with you… and a shiny new truck.

Hitting the streets this week are two new rubbish collection trucks. It’s all about making sure we do the best we can for the district. These more efficient trucks will help the team whisk away kerbside collections.

• Remember to use a yellow EnviroNZ bag or 60L bag max with an orange council rubbish sticker.
• Set your rubbish out kerbside by 7:30am.
• Leave bags as close as you can to the kerbside to help the team.
• Wrap any broken glass or sharp objects up - if it can cut through the bag, it can cut through skin.
• No batteries please - drop those off at the landfill for free.
