Tūrangi Tongariro Sports Junior Triathlon is back!

Don’t miss this one whānau – the Turangi Tongariro Sports Junior Triathlon is back this Saturday 14 March at Te Kapua Park and Turtle Pools.
It’s the local sponsors and community behind the scenes who make this all happen, so please show your support for them on Saturday.
- Tamariki will be swimming, cycling and running around Tūrangi with races starting 9.30am.
- Hit the park for prize-giving and give your support to these awesome kids at 1pm.
- Junior Rugby will be fundraising with a BBQ and there’ll be heaps more going on.
- Turtle Pools will be closed to the general public all day so they can support this event.
The following roads in the area will have Stop/Go and reduced speeds to 30km/h to keep everyone safe: Te Rangitautahanga Road, Paekiri Street, Hinerangi Street, Rangipoia Place, Waipapa Place and Te Rangikahekeiwaho Place.
