Paws and Pages returns to Taupō Library
News
Boost your child’s reading confidence with Paws and Pages at Taupō Library. Run by Canine Friends Pet Therapy New Zealand, these sessions offer a calm environment where kids can read stories to dogs.
Paws and Pages is a proven success story, giving tamariki a safe space to gain important skills. Kids can choose a book from the shelf or bring one from home.
The dogs will be around for about an hour with 15-minute slots to read. It’s not just about reading – it’s about self-confidence and sharing your voice.
Sessions will be held at Taupō Library after school:
- Tuesday 26 May
- Tuesday 9 June
- Tuesday 23 June
