Taupō District tops three categories at the New Zealand Event Awards

Hats off Taupō District, you’ve done it again. The New Zealand Events Association awarded the Taupō District three awards at a gala last week.
The New Zealand Events Awards, which took place on 5 August, showcased the best events from around the country.
The winning local events prevailed against competition from around New Zealand.
- The New Zealand Junior Rugby Festival - Global Games won Sports Event of the Year and Sustainable Event of the Year.
- Treats of Taupō won Food, Beverage or Lifestyle Event of the Year.
Both events return this September and promise to be bigger and better than ever.
