We administer a number of halls that can be used for community events and meetings. Fees and charges apply for the use of these halls.

Taupō
Tutemohuta Community Centre
The Tutemohuta Community Centre is located on Blake's Road, Waitahanui. It was officially opened in 2001.
Facilities: Changing and shower rooms, health providers' room, mothers' room, large lounge and kitchen.
Seating: Seats 90 but can accommodate up to 120.

River Road Community Hall
The River Road Community Hall is located on River Road, Reporoa. It was officially opened in 1997.
Facilities: Lounge and kitchen.

Acacia Bay Community Centre
The Acacia Bay Community Centre is located close to the tennis courts at Beasley Park on Wakeman Road in Acacia Bay. It was built in 1993. This centre is a popular venue for small conferences, weddings and community activities.
Facilities: Two separate function areas, large entrance lobby, kitchen, view of the lake and Mount Tauhara.
Seating: Seats 80 but can accommodate up to 100.

Kinloch Community Hall
Kinloch Hall is located at Kinloch Domain on Mata Place beside two tennis courts and a playground.
Facilities: Lounge and kitchen
Seating: Seats up to 60.

Mangakino
Whakamaru Settlers Hall
Whakamaru Settlers Hall is an older type large community hall with a stage, situated at 5 Arataki Road, RD, Mangakino (corner SH32 and Arataki Road).
Facilities: The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, pie warmer and zip hot water. There are trestle tables and chairs available for use in the main hall area. Toilet facilities are located within the building.
Seating: Seats up to 220.

Tirohanga Settlers Hall
Tirohanga Settlers Hall is located at 839 Tirohanga Road, RD 1 Atiamuri. The hall is of an older style with a stage and a new kitchen added at the rear.
Facilities: Has a modern kitchen with fridge, stove, pie warmer and zip hot water. Lounge area is carpeted with adjoining bar and toilet facilities. Some trestle tables and a number of chairs are available for use.
Seating: Seats up to 220; 150 in the main hall and 70 in the new extension.

Mangakino FitGym/Hauora Kokiri
The Mangakino FitGym/Hauora Kokiri was officially opened in 2006.
Hours:
9am to 1pm - Monday to Friday.
6pm to 8pm - Monday and Wednesday.
4pm to 8pm - Tuesday and Thursday.
Closed on weekends and public holidays.
Get Active' tickets for casual sessions are available from the Mangakino Service Centre. Keys are available to paid members to access the FitGym outside public hours.

Tūrangi
Town Gymnasium
Located in the Tūrangi town centre, the gymnasium is available for use by sports groups only.
Facilities: Changing and shower rooms, kitchen is available for hire. This facility does not include crockery or cutlery and has a no smoking policy.
Seating: Seats up to 50 people.

Tongariro Hall
The Tongariro Hall, located in McLaren Park, Ohuanga Road, Tūrangi, was donated to the council by the Tongariro Senior Hall Trust to be used as a community hall. The hall is known locally as the Senior Citizens Hall. There is a no smoking policy for this facility.
Facilities: Fully equipped kitchen.
Seating: Seats up to 150 people.
