Taupō District Council Summer fun in the pools photo competition
Summer at the pools is all about fun, vibes and winning prizes.
Submit a photo of your whanau or friends having fun at the AC Baths, Tūrangi Turtle Pools or Mangakino Community pool and go into the draw to win a family pass! There are family passes for each facility to be won. The bigger the smiles, the bigger the chance of winning!
The competition is open to all ages.
- The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
- By entering the promotion, you agree to these terms and conditions.
- Any decisions made by Taupō District Council in regard to any part of the promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Taupō District Council reserves the right to amend, change or cancel the promotion and/or the terms and conditions of the promotion at any time.
- The promotion is open to Taupō District residents and ratepayers only.
- Taupō District Council staff and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
- Promotion commences on Monday 5 January 2026 and closes at 5pm on Friday 30 January 2026 (promotional period) unless stated otherwise. Finalists will have their photos published on Council’s Facebook page and winners selected by votes from followers. Winners will be announced on the Council Facebook page.

1 Ngawaka Place, Tūrangi 3334 - One entry is permitted per person. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify an entry if all entries do not comply with these terms and conditions.
- All photos must have the consent of everyone included in them and consent is the responsibility of the submitter. Finalists will have their photos published on Council’s Facebook page and may not contain indecent images or any persons that you do not have the consent of.
- Photo content deemed offensive will not be eligible for entry.
- A total of eight winning photos will be chosen.
- The winners will be notified by phone.
- By entering the competition winners agree to their names being published and to be photographed and or interviewed by Taupō District Council for publicity purposes. The prize winner must collect their prize from Taupō District Council.
- Taupō District Council reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or lesser value in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
- All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives, in whole or in part.
