Easter weekend opening hours

Here's a quick summary of the opening hours at our facilities over the Easter long weekend. From everyone at Taupō District Council, we wish you all a Happy Easter!
Customer and Visitor Information Centres in Taupō and Tūrangi
- Good Friday: 10am to 1pm
- Saturday 4 April: 10am to 1pm
- Sunday 5 April: CLOSED
- Easter Monday: 10am to 1pm
Customer and Visitor Information Centre in Mangakino
- Good Friday: CLOSED
- Saturday 4 April: 10am to 1pm
- Sunday 5 April: CLOSED
- Easter Monday: CLOSED

Landfill and transfer stations
- All facilities throughout the Taupō District are closed on Good Friday
- The usual public holiday opening hours will apply on Easter Monday
- A reminder there are no kerbside rubbish or recycling collections on Good Friday. If Friday is your usual collection day, everything will be collected one day earlier, on Thursday 2 April. Kerbside collection services will run as usual on Easter Monday.

Taupō District Libraries
- All libraries are closed on Good Friday, Sunday and Easter Monday
- Normal opening hours apply on Saturday at both Taupō and Tūrangi libraries

Taupō Museum
- The museum is closed on Good Friday, but otherwise open every day over the long weekend between 10am and 4.30pm
