We welcome suggestions for new books
Is there a book you want that we don't have? Have you heard of a new book coming out that you want to make sure we get?
We always welcome suggestions for books to purchase and add to our collection at Taupō District Libraries. You are able to make suggestions to our staff in the libraries, by visiting us or getting in touch, or by using the Wheelers online shopping basket.
Submit a request using the online shopping basket
To make it easier for you to have input into the collection we've created a "Basket" on our book supplier's website. From the basket, your suggestions may be converted to an order by our staff as long as they meet collection development policy guidelines.
- Visit the Wheelers Website
- Sign In using the public login below (note it is case sensitive)
- Email: Lib@taupo.co.nz
- Password: library1
- Browse for books, or search by title, author, or topic.
- When you've found a book you think we should purchase, make any notes or add your name if you want the book reserved for you.
- Click 'Add to Basket'.
- Sign out when done.
- To see if your suggestion has been accepted, log back in at a later date, search for the book you added to the basket and then check the notes field for any feedback. If this field is blank, your suggestion hasn't been looked at yet.
Suggest as many books as you like!
