Taupō Museum is open daily from 10am to 4.30pm.*
*The museum is closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday but otherwise open on most public holidays. Any changes to our opening hours will be shown here.
Entry fees
Entry to Taupō Museum is free for children and Taupō District ratepayers and residents with proof of address.

*Proof of address required for Taupō District residents and ratepayers.
**Bus Tours and Group Tours - $4.50 per head includes a 15 minute tour/talk of the museum or the Ora Garden project by one of our friendly staff or Friends. Advanced bookings are appreciated.
