From time to time, our team at the Taupō Pound have abandoned or surrendered dogs available for adoption and we love matching these with the ideal forever home.

We have an excellent success rate with adoptions because each dog is fully assessed to ensure it's suitable for rehoming before we put it up for adoption. All adoptions are based on the suitability of a potential owner/family with the dog being rehomed, rather than being about who applied first.
