Terms and conditions
The competition is open to all ages.
- The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
- By entering the promotion, you agree to these terms and conditions.
- Any decisions made by Taupō District Council in regard to any part of the promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Taupō District Council reserves the right to amend, change or cancel the promotion and/or the terms and conditions of the promotion at any time.
- The promotion is open to Taupō District residents and ratepayers only.
- Taupō District Council staff and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
- Promotion commences on Wednesday 1 July 2026 and closes at 5pm on Friday 31 July 2026 (promotional period) unless stated otherwise. Winners will be chosen at random.
- You can enter the competition in any of the followng ways:
- by completing the online entry form
- by email to info@taupo.govt.nz
- by post to: Private Bag 2005, Taupō Mail Centre, Taupō 3352
- by dropping off your entry into one of our three Taupō District Council Customer Service and Visitor Information Centres:
30 Tongariro Street, Taupō
1 Rangatira Drive, Mangakino
1 Ngawaka Place, Tūrangi
- There is no limit on the number of entries permitted per person. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify an entry if all entries do not comply with these terms and conditions.
- The winners will be notified by phone.
- By entering the competition winners agree to their names being published and to be photographed and or interviewed by Taupō District Council for publicity purposes. The prize winner must collect their prize from Taupō District Council.
- Taupō District Council reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or lesser value in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
- All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives, in whole or in part.
