About Taupō Lakefront Reserve
Taupō Lakefront Reserve stretches from near the beginning of the Waikato River on Ferry Road, along Lake Terrace out to Two Mile Bay, taking in Tapuaeharuru and Hot Water Beach.
Stunning views across the lake toward Mt Ruapehu, Mt Tongariro and Mt Ngauruhoe greet you at many points along the reserve. Taupō Lakefront Reserve links to other reserves that continue around the lake, including Secombe Park, Wharewaka Point and Five Mile Bay.
