Maintenance of parks and reserves
We take great pride in providing and maintaining 340 parks and reserves around the Taupō District. These community assets combine to make up over 1000 hectares of green spaces - that’s equivalent to about 1620 rugby fields!
Spring and summer are an especially busy time of year as grass grows rapidly, so we ask everyone to be patient as our team do their best to keep on top of mowing and maintenance.
Help keep our parks and reserves in good shape by contacting us to report any issues you see with:
- damaged or vandalised structures, furniture or sculptures
- weeds, plant or gardens
- lighting
- damaged ground surfaces
- paths and walkways
- general park maintenance enquiries.
